Mike Morris is an Executive Advisory Partner at M37 Ventures, with a career spanning federal law enforcement, enterprise cybersecurity, and cyber workforce development.
He spent 25 years with the Federal Bureau of Investigation, where he rose from Special Agent to Laboratory Director, leading complex cyber investigations, digital forensics, and incident response across federal cases. Following his government service, Mike served as Chief Information Security Officer at Energy Future Holdings and as an Incident Response leader at PwC, operating across both enterprise and advisory environments.
Mike is Associate Dean and Senior Director of Cybersecurity Programs at Western Governors University, where he oversees one of the largest cybersecurity education pipelines in the United States, shaping the next generation of security professionals. He holds CISSP, CISM, CCSP, and CHFI certifications and is a regular speaker on AI-driven threats and cyber workforce development.
